Day 3 - New Years Eve

Image
Today is New Years Eve, and I am at the one of the most happening place on earth, Kuala Lumpur. Tonight, on the streets of Petronas Towers, I will find at least one person of all the countries of the world. But, I woke up pretty late today, it was almost 9:45 when I woke up. After a quick shower, I hurried for the breakfast, and came to know that I was one of the last person to have the food this morning.   After this delicious food, I wanted to do some shopping, so I headed towards the Berjaya Times Square Mall. It was pretty much boring to roam around the mall. But something great happened.  I happened to get across a lady, in a perfume store. I talked to her. We had a bit of conversation, and things started to escalate pretty quickly. I grabbed a couple of perfumes from her store and moments later, I liked the lady very much, her name was Liana. I wanted her to remember me pretty much, so I gifted her  a ear-ring from her store, and she was very surprise...

Day 2 - Batu Cave and Genting Highland

Image
Well, yesterday, we slept pretty late, almost 3 AM, and getting up early for a day tour would certainly be a hectic one. However, managed to get a powernap in the van whenever it was possible. Right after the delicious breakfast, we headed to Batu Cave, one of the sacred Murugan Temple in Kuala Lumpur. The batu cave is a limestone hill, which has a series of caves and cave temples. The cave is one of the most popular hindu shrines outside India, which is dedicated to Lord Murugan, also known as Ram. After the quick visit to Batu Cave, I headed towards the Great Genting Highland. One of the mysteriously beautiful place in Malayisa, it has one of the biggest hotel in the world which has over 10,000 rooms, and yes, only computers to book and pay for hotel rooms. :D The gondola ride gave a very chilly feeling, going from a very hot place, only after a few minutes of ride, we went through the clouds, and into a very cold place, we arrived the First World Hotel.  Very co...

Day 1 - Kuala Lumpur

Image
Wooh, it is pretty hot here! Like, really very hot. I feel like coming directly from Antarctica to the Deserts. Started the day with a quick trip to Putrajaya, a place where most of the major governmental offices are located. Then to the Chinese Temple where the Chinese people get married, then to the wonderful Independence Road. And there ended the first day, getting acquainted to the never sleeping, beautiful place, Kuala Lumpur. I am excited for tomorrow as we have a lot of wonderful things to do tomorrow. Yay!!

Malaysia 2K16

Image
Today, I have a flight to catch at 9 PM. I am all set to go, morally, but the glitch is, I don't have my passport on my hand, means I haven't yet made a travel card. So, I have some tasks yet to complete. At 2:30 PM, I received my passport, rushed to the bank to collect my travel card, trimmed my hair, took a shower, packed my bags, backed up my camera, and had some food and bid adieu at home and reached to the airport @ 5:30 PM. See, I am that talented ;) I boarded and waited, the flight was on time, but the wind was very good. That's me, all ready to roll into the trip. Yes, That's my boarding pass! This beauty was here to take us.  I had already started to get the vibes of Malaysian Food, as this food was also Malay. And yes, I really don't like Malay food. Tell me, who would like Sweet and Salty at the same time?

Best Thakali in Town

Image
Well, this place is my all time favorite. They serve the best thakali, as per my experience, in the town. Located at a very easily accessible place, baluwatar, this is so far the most exquisite Thakali destination for me. It is  Cafe de Tukche , right in front of  Nepal Rastra Bank. The cost for a Thakali set is Nrs. 270. For me this place gives the urge to eat so much of rice! :D

Goodbye Pokhara

Image
Since I didn't sleep till 4 AM because I was busy getting drunk :D, I couldn't go to Sarangkot to view the sunrise, thus, I slept till 8 AM. Hurriedly, I took a shower and packed my bags to get back to the valley, because more treasures and adventures are awaiting me ;) Hitting the highways, stopped at Muglin to see this great technique to serve food.                                  Again, after lunch, here I had the wonderful, tasty Paan! ;) I love travelling at night, so there I was arriving home late night to end a wonderful short trip.

Bandipur to Pokhara

Image
Very chilly morning, woke up with a bad headache, and planned to hike uphill to see the beautiful sunrise. The hike was pretty much tough! We hiked to a place from where we could see the himalayas and hills and also the plain terrain of the terai, but we were pretty much unlucky, because all of the places were covered with fog. Meet my friend, Mr. Handsome, Suman! Sunrise from the wonderful place at the top of the hill. I smile, because I see the wonderful me, and then I rushed towards a beautiful town, Pokhara. Not tasty Cafe Latte.                                                                                           This croissant did please me however. Went to one of my favorite place from where the Phewa Lake gives ...

Normal days, normal tasks, normal pattern of life, needed a quick escape from the chaos, I headed towards achieving some enthralling moment. Started the day with a quick thought to gain some wonderful moments, headed to Gorkha, a place rich with abundant historical importance. While I was getting ready to hit the road, I managed to check the smile level on my face and found out SMILE LEVEL= 100/100 :D Quickly after grabbing some food @Muglin, managed to have this deliciously tasty Paan ;) After have a nice sightseeing at Gorkha, for which I don't have images, headed towards Bandipur, and it was pretty late while reaching there. After having dinner, this nice fire aided to provide warmth to the very cold weather, also accompanied by the great Russian Distilled Water ;)
